What’s included

Tasting of 5 distinct wines

Expect a mix of styles including amber, natural, and qvevri-aged wines. We pour a representative selection from key Georgian regions. Each lineup is curated by our team based on season, availability, and balance across styles.

History of Georgian winemaking

Georgia is often called the Cradle of Wine, with an 8,000-year winemaking tradition. You’ll get the context behind how wine became part of everyday Georgian culture, and what makes local varieties so distinctive. We keep it approachable and interactive, not academic.

Guide to regions & Qvevri technology

You’ll learn what “qvevri” means and how this method shapes texture, tannin, and aroma. We’ll compare regions and styles so you can recognize what changes from Kakheti to Imereti and beyond. You’ll leave with a practical way to read a Georgian wine list.

Tasting technique & palate guidance

We’ll walk through how to taste, what to look for, and how to describe what you like (even if you’re not sure yet). The goal is to help you find your preferences and feel confident ordering Georgian wine afterward. Questions are always welcome throughout.
